Disturbed pax assaulted another pax aboard a TPA to ATL flight
Below is a video of a disturbed pax assaulting another pax aboard a Tampa to Atlanta flight, apparently today. I am very impressed by how quickly the FAs appear to have defused the situation. Language is NSFW:

Not sure what video your watching as the FA’s took a while to break this up, as an other passenger had to escort Karen to the rear of the plane. Delta corporate security is working overtime this holiday as there was an other incident last night from LAX to MEM as per TMZ. Hopefully corporate security is fully staffed and doesn’t have omicron sick call outs, as they will have their hands full.

The guy showed a great deal of restraint after Karen assaulted and spat on him. She should be held criminally liable for her actions, and open up her check book as well.

I read one online report that the older gentleman was eating his lunch when the female lost it over his masklessness. I applaud his restraint for not responding in kind to the slap he took. That was the moment he knew he won the battle.

Disturbance Call: Hartsfield Jackson Intl. Airport

Preliminary Information: On December 23, 2021, Atlanta Police responded to Hartsfield Jackson International Airport in reference to a disturbance call involving an unruly passenger on a Delta flight from Tampa, Florida to Atlanta, Georgia. (Delta flight #2790.) Upon arrival, officers met with Delta employees at gate A11 to await the arrival of the flight. When the aircraft arrived at the gate, officers were able to meet with exiting passengers who advised that the suspect, Ms. Patricia Cornwall had caused a disturbance while in the air. This disturbance lead to the injury of fellow passengers and Delta employees. Based on the statements gathered and visible evidence, officers detained Ms. Cornwall and contacted the on-call FBI agent. The officers then relocated with Ms. Cornwall to the domestic Atlanta Police precinct where FBI agents responded and took custody of Ms. Cornwall. Nothing further to report at this time.
