"Together we Fly" Promo: Earn up to 20k Bonus Miles By Being on a Team

Has anyone else seen this? Seems like a pretty easy promo for some miles.

https://togetherweflydelta.com/

I don't like in Michigan, Minnesota, Tennessee or Washington, but it looks like you can join a team even if you aren't in those states.

I have received invites already - Thanks!

PM me as well - I'll join too!

motytrah Mar 3, 2010 11:20 am

Edited. Further review I'm a boat anchor unless I do a millage run or something.

It just states that the tickets have to be purchased with an Amex - I wonder if booking tickets via my TA with my corporate Amex counts?

PM me

If anyone wants to PM to join their team I am going to be booking and flying some pretty serious mileage during that time.

Keep in mind that the most one person can contribute is 12.5k to the 25k. Nonetheless, we're all FTers here so this should be doable with all!

purchase tickets and travel between Feb 15 and May 15

Do you think they'll really know when I purchased the tickets? I have 2 trips planned for this time period amounting to over 10K miles flown. Problem is the tickets were purchased prior to Feb. 15. Any thoughts or lessons learned about "date of purchase" from prior promotions like this?

PM me if you're willing to take a risk and have me join your group.

I just booked a TATL yesterday with my Amex, so if anyone wants me to join their team, gimme a PM.

I'd love in. I do at least a couple trans con trips a month.

I'll take an invite too from someone based in one of those four states.

I got a PM about this last week from someone with zero posts and no info about him, although the PM had a full name that I didn't recognize. I assumed it was just some sort of solicitation and ignored it (did not respond or click on the link) after being unable to quickly check whether this sort of PM is considered appropriate on FT. My guess is that the person might be trying to contact everyone living in the right states who's obviously a VFF and posting actively in this forum.

Has anyone else in the targeted states received PM spam as a result? For me, it's only the one message so far but I won't be happy if it continues from people I don't recognize.

I've got a couple of flights yet to purchase for travel in April (and I've got an Amex). PM me if you need an extra body.

motytrah Mar 3, 2010 11:59 am

This might work

Further review of the T&C this won't work for me. Editing. :(
