Ok, so I was finally forced to use the Delta website.

Am I missing something, or is there no option to view the upgrade waitlist on Delta?

There is... you have to be checked in and it shows within your itinerary.

I am checked in, and when I view my itinerary it says I'm waitlisted under the appropriate segment, but there is no place to look whether I am #2 or #30 on the waitlist. Am I missing it?

No link, but now I figured out why.

My waitlist is on my return segment. So I assume the link will show up when I check in for the return in 2 days. Thanks for fixing my brain!

Sometimes, the link to view Upgrade List is there and sometimes it is not. Keep refreshing or checking back and it will appear. I have no idea why it does that. And sometimes when you click it, the space where the list typically appears is blank or it shows flight information at the top for another flight in the itinerary. So far, Ive found it to be a helpful tool when it works. Much of the time it is clunky...continental.com's has never been a problem to use. You can even see the upgrade list for flights you're not even on in CO's version!
