BUMP Dead?

I've an upcoming MSP trip (from ORD) on AA. Given the fact that the flights on DL are showing as far more open, I would much rather be on NW/DL metal instead of AA.

Is the BUMP program still alive, or is it now dead as collateral damage from the ever-ongoing merger?

If it is not dead, I am in a party of four with no bags on one PNR, would I just need a paper ticket from AA?
