Reservations System Update

Updated January 8, 2010 7:00 p.m. CST

We are updating our reservations systems. A small number of flights scheduled at the end of this year will be temporarily unavailable for purchase. If you're having trouble finding the flight you're looking for, please try back after 5 a.m. EST on January 10, 2010.

We apologize for the inconvenience and encourage you to return to nwa.com to make plans for your upcoming travel.

Why not just relink it to the Delta reservations website. Seems like a lot less work, unless Delta can not show the NWA flights.

Today marked the first phase of full NW/DL reservation system integration.

Effective today (Jan. 9, 2010), Northwest flights will be replaced with Delta flights in schedules and availability displays from September 5, 2010 and beyond.

As part of that first phase of integration, all existing Northwest PNRs which include a flight with a departure date of September 5, 2010 or later were migrated to the DL system today... meaning that if you have a trip booked via NWA (ticket issued on 012 stock / booked at nwa.com) for travel after 9/5/2010, your reservation is now in the DL system.

On a related note, the BizPerks/SkyBonus integration is set to happen as of tomorrow (Sun., Jan. 10, 2010).
