segments question
Hi everyone, first post here in the forum.
I fly with Delta a lot, I have questions regarding how they count the MQ segments. I fly from LA to Mississippi for work a lot. The route I am taking is LAX (LA)- ATL (Atlanta) -JAN (Jackson). They used to count LAX - ATL as one segment, and ATL - JAN as another. So each round trip would earn me 4 MQ segments. Recently, I have reviewed my account history, noticing that they now counts LAX - ATL - JAN as 1 MQ segment only now. So I am just wondering did they change their policy during the year or did they just mess up the count? Regards |
There have been multiple posts about this issue lately. Your summary should be showing the correct segment count, while the data fields in the table are showing half counts.
If you look at your account through the NWA site, you will see the segment counts correctly, per leg. |
NWA table is much more organized, and showing the correct info.
thank you very much! |
If the flight is the same flight number its considered a direct flight with a stop (1 segment)
If its two flight numbers you get two segments. |
HWGeeks, they are two different flights. Thanks.

Focus on DevilDogs' response. Your segment count should be correct, but DL's line by line tracking is off. Go to the NWA.com site and check your account there. When DL elected to use the NWA system post-merger, it succeeded in another poor transition.
