About a month ago, it was Delta catered when I flew this route. But oddly, I saw a trip report on Airliners.net where someone flew just a few weeks ago and claimed it was catered by NW. Go figure...

Not sure what is meant by "traditional NW breakfast" and "catered by NW". Since SEA-MSP is under 1,500 miles it would get the cold breakfast: cereal, cup of yogurt, small fruit bowl, bread item (sometimes warmed, sometimes not). Prior to last March, on a route that long NW "traditionally" offered the cereal or the omelet/sausage/potatoes.
On a recent ATL-SEA flight -- long enough to merit a hot breakfast -- the sausage in the hot choice had been replaced by baked apple slices. Healthier to be sure, but not as satisfying.
