It must be. On those routes where DL flies both mainline and RJs between the same city pairs, the fares are the same whether you end up on a Barbie Jet or luck out and get on a mainline jet.
So the customer service experience must be the same.
And, I'm sure the flight crews are equally experienced, and comparably compensated.
After all, DL management wouldn't charge you the same but give you less than you paid for, would they?

Comfort is not an issue on a RJ.
Just remember to keep your USAToday when you leave the hotel. Properly folded, you can use it to double the padding in a CRJ200 coach seat. Just wear dark pants in case the ink rubs off, especially during the summer ("we promise the plane will cool off when we reach our cruising altitude") months.

A thread on airliners.net notes that CR7s will be getting FC on Delta Connection. Is that correct? If so, it would be huge!!

Or they came from the same town in Poland.
Lately I have been distressed by the prevalence of the CR7s, especially when they show up on the routes that formerly were serviced by those lovely old NW DC9s.
It is very difficult to book away from them and stay with Delta and I have been finding myself going with other companies on some trips. I do not like to ride in coach seats no matter how short the trip, especially after a day's work and this would certainly be a large improvement.
