Fun with Delta/NWA IT systems
 

This is a fun one and should be interesting to see how this plays out. My wife is gold and I am silver. We have a trip coming up this friday and choose to split the reservation so that she could get upgraded. We did so and saw that she was upgraded on nwa.com, 3 days before.

She called delta to see what she could do, possibly use miles, to get me upgraded. The delta rep says "your husband already has been upgraded, you are still in coach." They both were confused so hung up and moved on.

So here is the down low. On nwa.com we have 2 confirmation numbers. My wife is in first and I am in coach. On delta.com we also have 2 confirmation numbers however, I am in first and my wife is in coach. NWA has seat assignments but delta has seat to be assigned.

How do you think this will play out?

I am going to try to checkin on delta.com and her on nwa.com. This should be interesting.

Delta, I think but I am confused.

NW operated. I would only trust what NW is telling you - not Delta.

plus the NWA version makes sense, the DL version does not.
