You might find it helpful to monitor http://www.google.com/search?num=100...t.com/content/ to see if any new promotions show up, as many of the previous ones appear using that search.
I'm not aware of any current promo codes, discount or otherwise, valid for use on Delta.

This is minor, but I found this in the latest Virgin America email:
Get the Gogo Pass that Keeps Going
On the go? Then go with Gogo®. Receive $5 off the first month of a Gogo® Monthly Subscription (regular price of $34.95) until June 161. The Gogo Monthly Subscription is an all airline pass allowing you unlimited access to any airline with Gogo Inflight Internet. It's the easiest way to stay connected, no matter where you are flying.
To get your pass and save $5 on your first month’s subscription:
1. Select 'gogoinflight' as the wireless network and launch your browser
2. Sign in or click 'Buy' to create a new account
3. On the 'Payment Info' page, enter promotional code subscribe4wifi
4. Click 'Update Total'

Facebook Free on Gogo In-Flight Internet During February
From USA Today:
Starting today, seven major airlines are giving away the social network on their Wi-Fi networks all month, just as they would soft drinks and peanuts. It's part of a promotion with Gogo Inflight Internet.
The free Facebook service will be available on North American flights for Virgin America, United Airlines, American Airlines, Delta, AirTran, US Airways and Alaska Airlines. Those who wish to use services other than Facebook must pay extra. Prices range from $4.95 for a short flight to $12.95 for a long one.

That is just another impediment thrown into bandwidth access for the actual paying customers. A dozen extra freeloading facebookers will cause real damage to internet speeds on any aircraft.

And you have no freakin' clue what it will cost.
Apparently, if you login immediately after reaching 10,000 feet, the cheapest rate hits. After a few pax begin accessing the welcome page, the system is programmed to charge a few extra dollars.
Last week, it cost me $7.95 westbound / $12.95 eastbound, ATL-SFO, SFO-ATL.

I love this idea of giving away access to certain sites that subsidize the cost of the service. Perhaps it will become a core part of the business model going forward.

Thanks. I was basing my thinking on the difference between my Sunday Ticket feed early in the fall when there were no promos as against that in December when Google was subsidizing free access.
I do know that it was considerably slower that December afternoon but if what you are saying is correct (and I have no reason to doubt it), I guess that must have been caused by some other factor.
