reduced MQMs on international M fare?

I remember a thread about an adjustment in Skymiles but if there was one about the same for MQMs I don't remember and cannot find this morning.

I called SMS to enter PMUs for my RT Oct 23 OKC-ATL-NRT-HKG. I asked about the MQMs to be earned and I was told 18K MQMs and 38K miles. I have a note about 28K MQMs based on the 50% bonus (DL web simply says 150%) for M fare.

So is this a change in policy regarding MQMs, a post Oct 1 anomlay, or my handwritten notes are simply wrong?

You should earn 1.5x miles flown in M

I agree. 1.5MQM per mile flown.

I just called delta to ask about the MQM earned on an NRT-ATL flight and they told me 6850... which means the same as RDM. That worries me, but I think it's all related to their computer problem - the agent said "it shows as..." despite my pointing out that it's an M fare.

Precisely. It does worry me that the math for the MQMs is too low and the Skymiles too high. I am trying to top 100K MQMs and hope this can be resolved sooner rather than later.

I think RDM is correct but MQM too low. But at least now the MQM show again when booking online (didn't for a while after showing double), so I think they are working on that problem. I think if you book M fare and have a printout of the MQM rules from the website as of the day of booking, they should (and will) give 1.5.
