What does confirmed flight check mark mean?
I just noticed that three of six flights on my next itinerary on delta.com have green check marks in front of them with the note above, "Confirmed Flight(s): Madison, WI (MSN) to Oslo, Norway (OSL) on 22 Oct 2009". I don't remember seeing that before and just wonder what it signifies.

I now see that on my itineraries as well. The only difference I see is that there's a green check mark rather than just saying "confirmed".
The other thing I noticed is that the top of the page says there has been a change to one or more of my flights. However, there are no changes. Flight numbers, flight times, seat assignments, etc. are all the same.
PS - I currently have three Delta reservations and only one of them has the green check marks and the "itinerary changed" notice. The other two are unaffected.

My trip in December had changes to flight timings in 3 of the 4 segments. Once I clicked the "Continue" button the system assumed I consented to the change and now I see the green check-mark against only those segments. The segment that had the equipment change does not have the check mark!! WEIRD!
On a side note until today the segments with schedule changes disappeared in the seat assignment page. Today they are back on and I am now able to check the seat assignments on all segments!!Whew!

I had that problem, too, but today it asked me to accept the changes and when I did, I was then able to choose seats for the altered flights. I was about to call them about that, actually.

So does anyone know what the check mark means? What's the significance of "confirmed", and why aren't they all confirmed?

I had check marks on mine but no changes this past week. I take the marks to mean those are segments that have had changes made in the past which reflects accurately on mine. The ones without checks are still confirmed, just no change to that particular segment.
