Lounge access in Varadero when flying Air Canada as Star Alliance gold?
Do I have free access to the lounge in Varadero when I fly Air Canada and have a Star Alliance gold card?

There are no private lounges for airlines in Cuba.

You need to pay to access it but it seems you can get in free. See link below.

HAV T2 has a VIP lounge, any airline, 15CUC, meager appetizers and also beer and spirits. Only open evenings.

No Lounge access for Star Alliance members. The lounges in Cuba are a real disappointment and dismal and reek of cigarette smoke.

I know, right? Why can't everybody there smoke those sweet-smelling Behikes or robustos instead?
