Air Canada's vacation deals for Havana: can you charge them to US credit cards?
 

I am a dual citizen (US/EU) living in NYC. I'm thinking of buying a vacation deal to Havana flying out of Montreal using my EU passport. I read that Air Canada will not sell these vacation deals to US citizens, but what about EU citizens living and working in the US? Is it possible to order a prepaid card issued by a Canadian bank and pay with that, or will Air Canada accept US based credit card purchases as long as you give an EU passport number?

I'd avoid the potential hassles and go with another method of payment than a US credit card at this point of US-Cuba relations (el bloqueo).
