We did it last year. We'll be on the Transatlantic from Miami to Barcelona in March, our third Transatlantic on Oceania. We love it. :)

we are booked on the April 3, 2010 Rio to Barcelona.

Are you using Oceania's coach airfare or taking the credit? We wanted to take the credit and book BE with our Skymiles. Although we are too far out from our sail date to see award availability I have been checking similar dates and have found that Delta wants 800,000 Skymiles for the two one way fares x 2 people. It's sad. I even called them and they said they will only price the awards as round trips.

Please report back after your cruise and let us know how you enjoyed it. This will be our first Oceania cruise.

That makes the 50,000 or so points in my DL Skymiles account seem pretty skimpy.

We've made our own air arrangements. We just got off a ten-day Eastern Caribbean cruise on Regatta that made us look forward even more to crossing the pond in March.

Fredd

love the sea days onboard any ship. Most of the time we have crossed the Atlantic from Europe. Much easier with the time zone changes. From Miami to Lisbon one year, we felt sleep deprived...the Big Band was so good and we were keeping late nite hours...kept forwarding the clocks!!!
