Silversea

Just won a trip on the Silver Cloud thru the local radio station. Not finding much info about this cruise line. Can anyone offer an opinion?

That's quite a prize! Silversea is one of the all-inclusive luxury cruise lines. Reviews of the Silver Wind can be found at Cruise Critic.

You are SOOOOOO incredibly lucky! We have sailed on Crystal, Radisson, Seabourne, Holland America & Silversea - Silversea blows them all away - the cabins - actually, suites, alone are worth every penny - and you don't have to pay any! We've got our 4th SS cruise booked - at a whole lot more than free - enjoy!

I would love to hear a comparison or a review about the former Sea Goddess (now, SeaDream) and Silversea. We are considering going back to our old haunt: The SeaDream(formerly SeaGodess) and would be interested in the comparison. The itineraries and fares are similar. It appears that Silversea has balconies. That is very appealing. Thanks for any info.

I always wanted to, but never did cruise on SeaGoddess. However, I am now so addicted to balconies - would not even consider cruising without one. We spend a lot of time out there watching & relaxing - especially with all the wonderful ports these smaller ships do. Coffee on the balcony, champagne on the balcony, & many more less PG rated fun on the balcony... I've got to have that fresh air. Be prepared - once you have had a great balcony, there's no going back to just a window or porthole...
