Virgin Voyages using Virgin Points
 

Hi.

I am considering in taking my first cruise abroad Virgin Voyages from Barcelona. I noticed last year there were a number of offers using Virgin Points to redeem on a cruise. Which cruise have you enjoyed the most - I was thinking of French daze and Ibiza night.

Has anyone used Virgin points as payment. I have a number of points that I would like to utilise, and although redeeming points didn't include XL Sea Terrace, is there a reasonable upgrade option in cash ?

What do bar prices tend to be onboard.

You can "bid" on an XL sea terrace for $100. No guarantees that you'll get it though.

I hopped on the 5-night 80k deal Virgin had thru Virgin Red -- is that what you're thinking of? Warning: it does take about 24 hours for the voucher code to arrive in your email.

I looked at some menus and the price of alcohol seems roughly ~$12 for mixed drinks and ~$8 for beer
