Well, I found a 7 day cruise on MSC out of Port Canaveral that leaves this Sunday.... I got a balcony room for $449 plus taxes for the week.

MSC also matched my Hilton Diamond Status to their Voyagers Diamond Level (top level).

I just got informed that I got a free upgrade to a suite. Not bad!

Will be strange cruising on my own.... but should be relaxing.

I wanted to come back and thank the group for all your helpful information.

I now have a new favorite cruiseline.... I had honestly never heard of MSC before I cruised on her last month.

The capacity may have helped my experience... the 4 day cruise before my cruise had 3,200... my 7 day cruise had only 950 passengers.

While the MSC Divina was an older ship and did not have the fancy technology.... it was a truly fantastic experience. Very relaxing.

Cannot wait to experience MSC again.

Did they have any decent dance floors and bands onboard?

yes, they had a pretty substantial dance club on top of ship. Variety of bands / performers over the ship.

I've read that if you are sailing on a MSC ship, or perhaps specifically a more-crowded one, a Yacht Club suite/cabin will make your vacation much more enjoyable. Though entertainment facilities are still shared, you have your own exclusive pool, sun deck, bar and restaurant (drinks complimentary).
