Can you take a cruise from new zealand to australia?

And if you can, how much time is it?
Even it`s close to each other we still want to get the experience of a cruise

Yes, there are cruises from New Zealand to Australia and vice versa. Length depends on the cruiseline and time of year. Most of the ones I've looked at were 10-14 days but I was just looking at specific cruiselines.

I just came back from a 10 day cruise (March) on Holland America Line. Others run this route too; Celebrity, Royal Caribbean, etc.

Most are in the summer months (Nov ~ Feb)
What research have you done for this trip?

Yes, you can. It costs quite a lot but it’s nice. You can observe the water from your ship. Keep in mind that the wheel is on the right, though.

The Tasman Sea(between Australia and NZ) is notoriously rough. Don't make that trip in the southern winter months, roughly mid-May to mid-September.

We sail on Oceania & did their French Polynesia cruise in March .
Some of their cruises continue on to Australia and New Zealand & sail between the 2 countries in the summer months - Southern Hemisphere !!

We we saw other cruise lines while in Auckland , likely doing this route too .

This is a list of New Zealand cruise ports:

https://www.vacationstogo.com/cruise...ew_Zealand.cfm

There is a similar but longer one for Australia cruise ports.

You will probably first have to register or make an account on the web site, but they won't ever bother you after that. You go to them.

Once you get on, their search function is very powerful. You can select originating port (Auckland would be a good one to start), ports to visit, length of cruise, dates and all sorts of other things. I didn't see any right now on their "90 Day Ticker", but that can change.
