RCCL Anthem
 

The threads about the Anthem on Cruise Critic reinforces why I try to spend as little time as possible on that website.

People on Cruise Critic can sometimes be very passionate about cruises, ships, or cruise lines and often get "wrapped around axle" about aspects. I'd guess some of them might feel the same way about a whole forum dedicated to the many aspects of air travel. :rolleyes::D It's still a good source of information and sometimes you just have to avoid the more emotional threads.

I would add that I basically stopped looking at Cruise Critic after I sailed on Quantum of the Seas in 2014. Some of the threads there can make FT look and feel like a relaxation room in a shipboard spa. :D

Well I for one appreciate EVERYTHING Cruise Critic reviewers bring to the table. If it wasn't for them, I would have unsuspectingly accepted my cabin with teal color accents (as advertised) when they were clearly aqua color accents! And don't get me started on the differences between the salad forks and dessert forks...marketing scam... :p

Eh, it's not all that bad over there. And there's a decent amount of real useful information on CC. That said, some of the individual cruise line forums there are far more rabid than others.

(And I definitely could make the same arguments about aspects of flyertalk, especially when people start talking about club amenities and frequent flyer programs.)
