Voyager of the Seas upgrade completion?

Their web site says "Coming soon" for the new restaurants and surfing simulator but some of their mailers are already stating that the newly-upgraded VotS will be sailing into Australia soon (in fact I will be on that cruise).

Does anyone know whether the upgrade is close to completion? Do they actually take the ship out of the rotation during this time or does it sail as usual whilst changes are made subtly, piece by piece, during cruises?

Latest info I have seen says it will be drydocked in Singapore from Oct 17 to Nov 21 for a rather extensive refurbishment.

Great news, thanks. :) I will be sailing out on Nov 25 from Singapore to Sydney on the VotS, so it looks like all those sailing out that day will be the first to try out the new amenities/restaurants/bars.

If they can't finish the works in the drydock, you may have contractors on the ship still working during your sailing.

But yes, the bulk of the works should have been completed. You will be sailing on a ship that is like brand-new.
