Best deal for a cruise

Hello,

Myself and my girlfriend has decided that we are going to take a cruise together next year probably around April or so. We would like to find the best bang for the buck and the best ammenties for the most valued price.

Can anyone help? How? Where? When? So on

Also what cruiselines is recommended.

We are looking at the caribbean.

I greatly appreciate any help given.

Welcome. I'd scroll through this thread as a good start as it covers much the same topic:

As to what cruise lines are recommended it's all personal preference and the question is like asking what everyone's favorite model of car is. Mine fave cruise line is Holland America after trying a few others but some here are partial to Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Princess or even the luxury lines like Crystal. The cruise lines got together years ago to create CLIA (Cruise Lines International Assoc.) and their website http://www.cruising.org/ is a good resource, at least IMHO, at giving a good overview to the first-time cruiser with many question such as yourself.

Happy sails (and sales) to you. :)

Some of us heathens even prefer Carnival. ;)

IMHO Carnival is the best deal going by far. Of course, my opinion is probably unpopular here. :D

It's really a style issue. Carnival is great for what it is.

I subscribe to a site called Vacations to Go. Their listings provide cruises all over the world, but not necessarily all cruise lines. Generally I have found that if you like the price, the line's website offers the same price.
