PremierPass Virtuoso - what is it?

In my renewal for PremierPass it mentions Virtuoso.

What do they do? How do I use it?

They are a travel agency with a network of specialist across the country who can advise and book as well. - Air, Car, Hotel, plus all the extras

I myself have been none too pleased with them with my Saks WE MA. They do the basic for me and all I ask for is an air booking for a whopping $35 per booking. Nothing more nothing less.

I think they have a dedicated team call center for World Elite MasterCard clients.

See the other thread on this benefit with Premier Pass and continue the discussion there.

The brochure I got with my card states it provides complimentary companion airline tickets and upgrades for international travel on select airlines from select cities, and special amentities and rates on select cruises, tours and fine hotels and resorts worldwide.

I called Citi and they said the best thing to do for complete details (other than waiting for their marketing brochure to arrive about it) is to call Virtuoso directly at 1-877-285-4201. This line is supposed to be set up for World Elite cardholders. Or you can call Citi and ask them to transfer you to them.

I'm curious what the minimum fare classes, and list of "select cities and airlines" are.

Yes. That is true. More info can be found here:

Airlines are limited in my mind. It is international only - no USA. I have never used this benefit.

From what I have read full unrestricted fare economy = upgrade to business, full fare unrestricted business = complimentary companion ticket. Airlines are at the above sites -- thus you can deduce the select cities on which this is offered.

Hotels have very similar benefits to the AXP Platinum FHR program. I have never used.

Sorry to be so dire. I just want to exude realistic expectations.

P.S. Something like - seat preference, FF#, upgrade with miles is something I would expect them to do on my behalf for $35 -- not just a book the air, what is your CC#..... and since all I do is simple air to one destination I never use Virtuoso for that any longer.

You will find a lot more about Virtuoso in the Luxury Hotel section. I am biased, but it is much better than FHR if you can find a real agent at a real agency to work with. If you a "nickles and dimes" kind of person, the program isn't for you.
