Business Cards that Require Tax ID Number?
 
Some banks seem to require this, such as US Bank the last time I tried. Which banks now ask for tax ID, and if they do, does anyone have a workaround? If a valid tax ID is really necessary, what's the cost and requirements involved in getting one?

a sole proprietorship business' tax ID is the owners social. When CC apps ask for my FEIN, I put in my social.

If you have an actual business, the process for getting a tax ID is easy. Instructions can be found here:
