Incredible Shrinking Grace Period
 

Several of my credit card companies seem to be dragging their feet on mailing out bills. The object, of course is to generate late fees and to be able to charge interest on pay-in-full freeloaders like me.

Sleaziest of the lot is my Capital One Visa. They take 14 - that's right -fourteen days to deliver the bill. That's more than half of the grace period.

Is anyone worse than Capital One?

:confused: What difference does it make when the postal copy arrives, the statements are available online immediately, aren't they?

Exactly. I have always had digital delivery of my bills. I couldn't imagine waiting for a bill and mailing a paper check! By checking online you can monitor your purchases and know immediately if anything looks out of line.

The increase in stamp prices is probably killing you too, when you mail in your payments ;)
