VISA and/or AMEX with LH miles
 

After LH's change to Mastercard I am looking for an alternative CC from VISA or AMEX which can collect miles. Residence in Germany. Any suggestions or even experiences? Thank you very much.

How about the HHonors Visa Card. You get 2 points per EUR and 3 for Hilton stays. As you are a HON I doubt that the instant Silver Status is an issue for you.

Other than this just go for the AMex Plat. I just discussed the with Rambuster and there is not much of a difference between the AMEX CENT and Plat so I'd go for the Plat one.

Would it be possible for you to to obtain one of the Austrian Airlines Visa cards? They are euro denominated and earn M&M miles.

There is also a euro denominated M&M Visa card issued in the Netherlands:

By the way, why is it that you want a Visa card or Amex, as opposed to the MasterCards offered by LH in Germany?
