New Visa Card

I am looking for some information on the best visa card I can use for earning either points or miles. I currently have an amex platinum with a ton of MR points, along with many in AA, CO and DL as well. I also have points with Starwood as well. I am looking for the best rewards card I can find with a visa logo. Any suggestions?

Marriott or Hilton?

Since you seem to have enough airline stuff, why not get into the hotel cards?

Marriott and Hilton both have Visa cards.. It's really a matter of which chain you prefer.

Merrill+ Platinum Plus Visa
Nordstrom Visa Signature - if you shop at Nordstrom

try to find along the Visa Signature lines..

There are lots of Visa card offers in the Credit Card section of my website below, many with mega up front bonuses. Take an hour or two to study what I have listed.

I think Chase freedom of VISA and Citi MTVU VISA cards are both good cards.

The top cards in my opinion are:

Merrill+ ...Great benefits, unlimited points, however rewards are not that flexible. I have this card for the benefits

Fidelity Visa Signature - unlimited 1.5% cash back.

Chase Marriott Rewards Premier Visa Signature - 1 free night plus 15 nights toward Marriott status, but it has an annual fee. I have this card for the nights toward status.

Chase Freedom Visa Signature - 3% cash or points on your highest spending categories.

Citi HHonors Visa Signature - 6 pts per $ at Hilton...an awesome reward rate

Downside to Signature

Note that one downside to the Signature card is that since it's a "no preset spending limit card", many banks that issue it do not report the credit limit to the CRAs, which can negatively impact your credit utilization, which in turn can affect your credit score. Much discussion on this topic at cardratings.com, fatwallet.com and creditboards.com

Agreed

Note that Merrill+ is not a Visa Signature.

I found out that AAdvantage has a platinum or gold card with the visa logo. It's an identical card to that of their MC. 20,000 bonus points offered to sign up.

I'm not sure why. It's in the fine print.

American Airlines AAdvantageŽ miles will appear as a bonus in your AAdvantageŽ account 8-10 weeks after purchases totaling $250 or more post to your account. This offer is only valid for new CitiŽ/ AAdvantageŽ accounts applied for by December 31, 2007 through this offer, and excludes any other CitiŽ / AAdvantageŽ credit cards offered.
