Newbie Churn advice

Hey everyone,

just starting and trying to learn how to churn! I just signed up for my 1st citi AA card and got my bonus miles. Have had the card about 2 months now. I have a citi "thank you" card that I have had for YEARS. So thats 2 citi cards. I would like to keep the "thank you" card open but chur and chur to get AA miles.

Do you cancel and then apply again for the AA bonus card?

How far between cards can or should I apply?

How long should I keep it before applying again?

I get the basic concept but need some help on Properly executing churns with AA

Thanks everyone, I know I'l get some good guidence here ;)
