Concierge service by AXA Assistance?
Has anyone had experience with the concierge service provided by AXA Assistance?
http://www.axa-assistance-usa.com/services/concierge/ The USAA AmEx cards come with this concierge service, but I have never seen them used before. I know Citi uses VIP Desk, MBNA/BofA uses Les Concierges, Merrill+ uses Circles, and I think most AmEx issued cards use Circles. The AXA Assistance sounds good according the website for those of us that travel internationally on a regular basis. They have offices in thirty-nine countries and their website says they offer their services in over 170 countries. I am not sure how many of these thirty-nine offices have a dedicated concierge unit, but the international reach seems levels above VIP Desk and Circles for a concierge service offered by a credit card. Hate to bump an almost 7 year old thread but I was wondering the same thing myself and couldn't dig any information up.
I have the USAA Amex and just used their concierge service to book a really hard to get restaurant for a upcoming trip to Paris. The women was helpful, took all my information down, and told me I would be updated when they attempted to call and book (as they had to call during opening hours). Got a email the next morning that my reservation had been confirmed. We'll see when I follow through and go next week but so far so good! Would definitely use them again! Just posting for anyone coming across this thread like I did when I was searching for info. |
