Japanese VISA cards?
 

In terms of the content of the magnetic stripe on credit cards, is there a difference between VISA cards issued in Japan, and say a VISA card issued in Europe?

I'm interested in the cards with an integrated chip, and in particular any differences in the format of the data on the stripe.

Does anyone know of a source of card information that I could refer to, to help with this at all?
