MP Visa Miles posting
 

On average, how long does it take from the statement date to have the miles posted in your account? In one of my account, it's usually 3-4 days. On the second one I just applied, it has been two weeks and I have not seen the miles yet. Is it normal? I called MP, they said Visa did not send the miles. Called Visa, they said they sent it. Called MP again, they said it may take 10 business days. :confused: :mad:

My miles post before I get the statement. However, on the double miles for taxes, I'm still waiting for the double miles--and have made numerous calls.

I got the enrollment bonus, but after about ten weeks with no monthly mileage posted, I figured I had been patient enough and called BankOne. The BankOne agent confirmed the right MP number was on the account, then called MP herself and conferenced them in. MP said nothing had been sent over, after which B1 apologized profusely and promised to expedite transmission of current and past credit. It appeared about 48 hours later when I logged into MP, the correct amounts credited to the correct months. Mind you, I'm neither a big spender nor a B1 customer or potential customer; maybe $1.2K per month at the most on this card and in the DC area. Since then everything's posted dandy within a week of the end of the cycle.

I called Visa again today and a lady named Kim was very nice. She called MP and did a conference call to verify that the miles did not post. Upon verification, she said she would put a note on my account and sent a request to the department that handles the miles posting so that they can do some checking/investigation on that. I'll wait and see how this turns out
