MBNA Worldpoints
 
This just joined the ranks of the average cards. Starting November 30th the reward for both cars and hotels is reduced to a penny per point.

This is so unbelievable. I just switched from an Amtrak to the MBNA Worldpoints card primarily for the car rental rewards. I use to have an MBNA Rewards card several years ago, but when MBNA upped the award levels I switched to Amtrak. My Starwood is always my primary card, but wouldn't it just be my luck that the Worldpoints program has changed. I'm not too thrilled with the fact that we're not getting much notice.

I figured it would be happening pretty soon. It's not worth it to me to keep the card anymore. I'll just use up my points before Nov 30th.

Really? I signed up this card just for the hotel and car rental goodies! But I haven't received any notice yet. Did you receive any notice??

There was a "change of benefits" notice in my last bill.
