Which card is best?
 

I need to get a new Visa/MC since I'm a little concerned about loading up the UA Visa I have now. I'm looking for a card that either the points can be transfered into a variety of FF programs(at 1:1 ratio) or at least into AA or Delta's programs(already have AX). Does anyone know of a card with no annual fee or a very low fee that they would recommend? Thanks

Most $0 fee airline affinity cards are 1:$2 - not a good return. The only AA Visa/MC I know of is Citibank's, and you'll have an annual fee. Amtrak has a $0 fee MC with 1:$1 that will transfer to United (no help), Midwest, and Continental at 1:1 - 25K limit - but since you fly out of LAX and you don't want hotel points, I don't know how much this would help you. What about dumping your UA Visa and picking up a Citibank AA MC? All non-flight miles, including those from CC charges, count towards lifetime elite status.
