I have heard that MC offers travel related services to their card members.

From the Citi (Canada) web site:
"Your Platinum Card from Citi entitles you to exclusive offers, travel advice and exceptional savings on last minute deals. To learn more simply call 1-888-250-3025."

Has anyone used this service? How realiable are they?

My BMO Platinum MC offers:

Personal Concierge
Mastertrip coverage
Rental Car/Hotel discounts
Priority Pass Lounge Access
Periodic Specials from MC
AirMiles reward program

You'd have to weigh the annual fee against your usage patterns. I think this is still the info number: 1-888-439-1833

Citibank (Canada) platinum cards do not have annual fees.
