Foreign Transaction Fee when travelling?
I am thinking of using "AAdvantageŽ AviatorŽ Red World Elite Mastercard" by Barclays when I am in Europe. Card says
Foreign transaction fee: The AAdvantage Aviator Red World Elite Mastercard has a foreign transaction fee of 0% of each transaction in U.S. dollars. There is still no foreign transaction fee right if I make purchases in Euro? Costco Citi card is also free from Foreign Transaction Fee - I can use this as a fallback option? Any popular cards people from US use in Europe? |

Just make sure both are the modern versions of the card with contactless payment, so you can tap to pay, as that is the default now for most of Europe. |
