Just received an email to join the waitlist for a new US Bank card:

6% cash back (up to $1500 quarterly): two retailers of your choice

3% cashback (up to $1500 quarterly): two categories of your choice - including wholesale clubs, gas, EV charging stations, home utilities

1.5% cashback everything else

I take this to mean $1,500/quarter spending, which is $90 cashback.

They say it will have $95 AF, and if that's true, it means 4.4% cashback card, which is not spectacular. Otherwise, I'd take it for Walmart primarily.

You missed this little gem to call out:
U.S. Bank is also piloting a version of the card plastic that includes innovative LED-powered technology that lights up the U.S. Bank logo during contactless transactions. The card with the LED feature is the first of its kind in market and will be available at no extra cost to select cardholders while supplies last.
