I don't think there is any CC with no AF that offers no foreign exchange fees and cash back.
You should be dealing with a private banker, who can open multiple accounts with no fees. Schwab, Fidelity, Merrill Lynch, BofA, Citi and Chase all have accounts that you deposit 100-250K, and none of the accounts will have any fees whatsoever. After opening you can do all your banking on-line. But it sounds as if you do not want to go to a branch, which means your choices are very limited. |

Betterment charges no ATM fee, refunds ATM fee charged by the ATM owner, and refunds 1% foreign transaction fee. Only works at ATMs that work on the Visa network.

Why do you need so many accounts?

Duplicate of this thread. https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/cred...m-fees-32.html .
I went with Betterment. It's really a repackaged NBKC account without the $12 limit on ATM reimbursement in exchange for giving the Betterment brokerage your transaction and personal data. Be warned though that they seem to only allow Plaid to link accounts for ACH because Betterment also wants to spy on your other accounts. Because plaid is a spyware company that stores your bank passwords, I can't actually use Betterment as a proper checking account and only use it for the debit card. SoFi also rejected me for the Money account because their stupid ID system doesn't work. However, I was able to get a credit card from SoFi with a $30,000 limit and an investment account with SoFi for the sole purpose of cashing out the credit card rewards at 2%. Shutdown from Schwab because i bought a house using that debit card. |
HSBC Premier has no foreign transaction fee. They are significantly reducing US operations, but are keeping high-value Premier customers.

Truist offers no ATM transaction fees for their premier clients. Think it only takes like $25K or a relationship with their Wealth Management group. It's a super regional bank so they only have branches in the Southeast US but believe they have a Wealth footprint through much of the US.
My wife works there and I used to so we had to open the account and found out that the debit card is actually quite handy. Only annoying issue is that the fee has to be separate line item on the transaction and they then refund it. But it's worked in every country we've tried it in and we've been refunded. |
Both exchange rates and fees need to be considered. When I withdraw cash from a foreign bank ATM, I compare the exchange rate I receive to the ‘midmarket rate’ for that time and date found at https://xe.com/currencycharts/ I use Fidelity and Schwab ATM cards for foreign withdrawals because they give me midmarket rates almost exactly and full ATM fee refunds.

In addition, I prefer to always keep deposit accounts with token amounts, and only transfer funds over when I'm about to make an ATM withdrawal. On this account, at least via the respective apps, Fidelity seems to generally be instant, while Schwab has, on occasion, taken a day to post. But, I'll usually carry both to use at ATMs whenever traveling abroad. |
So is Fidelity not charging a 1% visa fee when withdrawing cash from an ATM outside of the USA?
Also if anyone still has the original SoFi debit card, that's also foreign ATM refunding fees with no Visa fee? Similar to Schwab which doesn't have Visa fees and refunds ATM charges? |
