Please clarify. Airside lounges are still airport lounges.

Probably better to split in two questions:

- which airside lounges in the US accept PP?

- is PP accepted anywhere outside of airports?

Why would a lounge accept PP and not advertise it in PP itself?? PP is the organization that pays lounges for it's members visits so it does not make sense for a lounge to accept the card yet not charge the fee to the company that backs it up.

If you want to find out locations of PP lounges or those that accept PP for entry, the best place to go is the PP website itself (or use the mobile app).

True, but if someone seeks to know specifically if there are air-side lounges (at any airport), on off-airport lounges, searching the website would be tedious. I don't understand the question about air-side lounges, because most lounges are air-side these days.

When I am looking for a PP lounge at an airport, I usually go to the airport website. (I was trying to answer what I thought was a general question).

I have generally found that they will list all lounges available (although to be honest, these days whether they are open or not is another question).

I am guessing the original question was poorly worded, as there are two questions, the second of which is whether the are PP lounges outside of airports. IIRC United Club (maybe just a United lounge) had a location in Manhattan and possibly AmEx lounge or two not in an airport, though I am far less certain of AmEx.

Not none, but the number is pretty much close to none.

Basically, most U.S. airlines lounges do not accept PP. Only certain Alaska Airline lounges accept. So the only airline lounges accepting PP in the U.S. are airline lounges for foreign airlines. Because lounges are tiered with the route, it means that only airports with international destinations would likely to have one. And it is not always accessible.

The only chained lounge in the U.S. that accepts PP is the Club. Otherwise, unless you have AMEX-tiered PP, PP restaurant benefit is the actual benefit you can enjoy.

It was accepted in the past. Before Plaza Premium Lounge (PPL) terminated its contract with PP last month, PPL does have lounges outside airport (train station). So by the virtue of the contract, PP did have lounges outside airport.

Of course, YMMV depending on your travel. As an example, Airspace Lounge at SAN is in Terminal 2, which means you're probably going to be out of luck if you're flying WN unless you're fine walking there from Terminal 1 and going through security twice. (Plus, from experience, that lounge is pretty small as is so I'm not sure you'll have too great of an experience depending on the time of day.)

Anyway, international lounges do seem to generally be better, but there are always exceptions.

Does anyone have a DP to confirm that UBS AUs get their own PP membership? UBS rep on the phone was very uncertain about details...

My wife is an AU on my card and she gets her own PP membership card every year when I get mine. I don't remember having to do anything special to get it, I think they just sent both cards when I registered. Had the card for a few years now and the cards just come automatically.

Does anyone know if my priority pass still valid through the expiration date listed on the card if I have closed the credit card associated with the priority pass in question?

Ex: my Priority Pass expires on 11/2022, If I close my Capitol One Venture X I used to get the pass on 6/30/2022, will I still be able to use the Priority Pass through the end of November?

Thanks!

Doubt it
Somewhere in the terms I read that if the credit card is canceled the PPass is no longer valid, but YMMV - it depends on the robustness of their systems
