No more Visa Infinite $100 benefit!

No matter what Visa Infinite card you have, there will no longer be a portal for $100 rebates from Visa Infinite.

UBS Visa Infinite
CNB Crystal Visa
Ritz Carlton Visa

Note that many of these cards never had this benefit. I have endeavored to clean up the threads if this was not a feature of the card.

Suntrust visa infinite seems to still have it for now.

Edit: Now dead for Suntrust too.

You are going to ruin it for that one guy who has that card.

RC is one that has had it. Just tried checking for my RC card - RC no longer has it as of 1/15/20.
When I go to the site, This message pops up:
“ Effective 1/15/20, your Ritz Carlton Visa Infinite card no longer offers the Visa Discount Air Benefit. Air itineraries booked via the Visa Discount Air Benefit prior to 1/15/20 will still be honored and valid for travel. For full Terms & Conditions and FAQs please visit www.visa.com/discountair. If you need servicing on your existing Visa Discount Air itinerary, please contact the airlines directly for assistance as Concierge will no longer have access to your itinerary. Thank you”

The CSR had the $100 benefit? I didn't know this.

It was just the Chase Reserve that didn't have this wasn't it?

I cleaned it up, I don't know of any other US card that had the feature. But all three of these no longer do!

Please more info about this card. Couldn't find much info on the web

I don't know much about the card, but it appears to be for Private Wealth Management clients which typically means you have $1M with SunTrust according to the FAQ. This smartassert website has a little information about fees and says the minimum account is $100k. Maybe the benefit will disappear for SunTrust too though.

If you have 2M in investments with SunTrust, your WMB would have already issued this to you. That is the ONLY way to get it. No applications allowed.

Has anyone received a retention offer after calling in to complain about the loss of this benefit?

donotblink Jan 23, 2020 11:32 pm

I wonder how much money they were losing.

I saw a dp on reddit of some guy who got $300 credited back; he had just paid his AF in Dec 2019.
