Best Mastercard for plastiq mortgage payments?

Hey all,

I am thinking about starting to pay all my investment properties mortgages using plastiq. I have about 30k a month in payments.

Obviously needs to be Mastercard.. I also don't see myself using points for anything but economy as we are a family of 4 so I rather fly to multiple vacation in econ than 1 in bus/first. - so hoping for a card/airline program that is worth when using for econ. I am based out of NYC..

Any suggestions?

You get Citi DC and Citi AA. But they only offer up to 1.5% or 2% CB rates. They do not make back the 2.5% Plastiq charges you. Only works if you get any 1.5% payent promotion.

Barclays AA Biz:
1 mile per dollar spent
5% annual bonus on miles and a $99 companion pass after spending $30k in the year.

couldn't the fees be a write off, since they're rentals?

It is a tax question and it varies. Do your own math....

I agree on AA but also AS would be my next choice if they allow visa.

Given the fees Plastiq charges, I have a very hard time seeing a path to this being worthwhile if your ultimate goal is to redeem the miles for economy tickets.

Agreed. Does the math really add up?

No it doesn't add up. I use for minimum spend or promo, that's it otherwise not worth it

Virgin Atlantic MC should be pretty good for plastiq.
