Wells Fargo Businesss Platinum Card

This card has just added the welcome bonus of 50,000 points. Before it only had the $500 offer.

Wells Fargo Go Far rewards point is worth 1 cpp. You may be able to get slightly more than that with promotions. So the difference is small.

The cash back is 1.5%. The reward program earns from 1x to 2x depending on how you manage the spending.

There is a long running thread on the Doctor of Credit site about how difficult it is to get approved for this card. Many (but not all) people have needed a 12 month existing banking relationship with WF before getting approval.

See the comments here for a huge list of data points: https://www.doctorofcredit.com/wells...d-bonuses-500/

Right now there is a $400 new account promo for a personal checking account at WF. Some DPs suggest taking that offer, letting the account age for a few (or 12) months, then applying for this card.

I was not aware of this. Have a banking (both personal and business) relationship with WF for years. The application was easy.

Called WF. The personal reward and the business rewards are the same program. You can transfer reward points between them. It seems we can get like 1.5 cpps point value, not the 1 cpp regular value. This makes this card interesting for Plastiq payment since WF cards are not subj to Plastiq Visa limitation.
