Bank issuers for Worldpoints

Besides BofA Biz Card, are there any other CC issuers with the Worldpoints program that can still be applied for or product changed to? Would prefer a personal card & other than BofA.

Worldpoints is BofA's own points program, so there are no Worldpoints cards from other issues. But it's a just a name for their points program. Most major card issuers have their own points programs, but each has a different name. Amex has Membership Rewards points, Chase has Ultimate Rewards points, Citi has ThankYou Points, US Bank has FlexPerks points, Barclay has Arrival points, etc, etc.

So if you want a points from another issuer, then it's going to be a different points program!

Worldpoints is sort of a dying program:

But as mentioned in there, the non-business cards that earn Worldpoints (such as the Norwegian Cruise Line card and the Sandals card) don't have "Worldpoints" in the name like the business card does, but also don't provide as good a value as the business card.

Why are you against a business card (BofA business cards are easy to apply for, even if you don't have a business), and why are you against BofA yet so interested in Worldpoints?

Fidelity Amex was Worldpoints (and I had it) so I thought there may be other issuers - which you have mentioned that I didn’t know about so thanks for that! Do you know if you can redeem for cash at 1:1 in denominations lower than $250?

I do have the Chase Ink Cash, but wouldn’t bother with BofA biz card if I couldn’t transfer out & redeem for lower than $250 at 1:1. I have some ways to go b4 hitting 25000 points anyways on this card, but would apply sooner if there is a way to get cashback sooner through another Worldpoints issuer.

I have the BofA Travel Rewards card, but no luck finding info on cash back redemptions at 1:1. Only mention I found at 1:1 was with Worldpoints. Do you know if there is any 1:1 cash back redemption for BofA Travel Rewards?

I’d be open to other worldpoint Issuers for a biz card if I can redeem sooner than $250.

But that's only because Fidelity used to be (but no longer is) a partner of BofA. (I'm sure it would have not issued a Worldpoints card without that BofA partnership.) So in a sense it was not really a totally separate issuer.

And that's why I doubt that you'll find any other issuers, because Fidelity was such a special case.

Sorry, but I don't know anything about how any Worldpoints cards work. I've never had any Worldpoints cards myself. I figured out everything I told you in this post and the previous one from a quick web search (for the previous post, by googling "worldpoints", and for this post by googling "BofA Fidelity"), plus just knowing general things about credit card points programs and credit card issuers.

I can tell you that there are only 4 banks with credit card programs that let you transfer credit card points to airline and/or hotel partners:
  • Amex Membership Rewards (you can use the free Amex Everyday card to enable transfers)
  • Chase Ultimate Rewards (you have to have a $95 minimum annual fee card to enable transfers)
  • Citi Thank You Points (you have to have $95 minimum annual fee card to enable transfers)
  • BMO/Harris Diners Club (North America) Club Rewards (not taking applications any more)
No other banks which have their own points programs support transfers to partners.

(There are a number of hotel program which transfer to airlines, and thus hotel program credit card earning into those hotel programs support transfers indirectly. Ie, SPG is a hotel program, not a credit card program.)

Thanks. I did read the DoC post you linked to and only then realized Fidelity Amex was BofA. I thought Worldpoints was more Plenti-like til I read that link. Guess those points will eventually expire but at least I got $75 back from BofA for the Att offer where I was spending the money already since my wireless service is with ATT.
