They charge you 2-3% for the income tax payments (same with most property taxes), but an easy way to hit bonus spend.

Thanks but it looks like this is like buying miles at 2 or 3 cents a mile - of course unless there's some bonus to hit.

Sorry for posting this here, but i didn't find a thread for Barclay's business cards so this one seemed most appropriate. So just a heads up, I'm seeing various reports (5 so far) that Barclays business credit cards opened from 1/1/22 onwards are reporting as new trade lines/accounts on personal credit reports. Seems to be right around the 30 day mark after opening the card.

This shouldn't really affect aviator biz for now since it's not currently open for applications.

Moving the credit line worked for me and I was able to hit the spend threshold on 02/05/22. The $3k EQD hasn't shown up in my AAdvantage account yet though. I called Barclay and they said it would take 6-8 weeks for it to be reflected on my AAdvantage account. The miles have already been deposited to my account but AA Customer Service says that Barclay will send them another transaction for the EQD bonus, they don't calculate it from the miles sent over for the spend. Anyone have more info?

So this posted on 02/10/22? What is your statement closing date? My closing date is on the 5th and I met the threshold on the 4th. All the miles for the spend have posted to my account. I'm trying to figure out when the EQD's should come across.

Yes, the EQD bonus for $25k spend showed up on the 10th of the month after I met the spend, like mentioned in all of the other threads. My statement closed on 2/3.

If yours didn't show up 2/10 it will on 3/10 but it will be backdated to 2/4ish

There's been no official announcement, so it's hard to know for sure whether they've ended or only temporarily suspended applications.

Has anyone been able to get a credit line increase on this card? Every time I call, their system seems to be down and they can’t even run my credit to check for an increase.

Looks like I will be cancelling mine with no more Status bonus (like the old $3k EQDs for $25k spend)....

Applied for the card yesterday, got the usual "we need more info", 10-days, possibly 30. Got a call that afternoon and they wanted the usual verifying DOB, address, etc. Almost every question from the online app got asked (how many years in business, etc.) They "noticed" I had a 23.5k limit on my Arrival personal card and wanted to know if I could move some of that over to the new card, which I happily did and was approved. I had the before, but closed it in Sept. of 2019. (but had it for almost 2 years before closing).

In the past, it would post on the statement that you paid.
ie: 2nd statement you hit the SUB requirements. Bill due on the 13th. You pay on the 13th. Miles should show up within 7-10 days after that in your AA account.
