Understood, but how do you show the restaurant that you are eligible for the voucher if LoungeKey does not provide you with a membership card?

The credit card is to be used as the lounge key card.
When you get in the lounge , you have to ask/tell the agent "lounge key"
they shall swipe & you sign on the machine.
I have so far never been charged a dime.

I can see how this works well at a lounge, but not at a restaurant. At a lounge you always present your card at time of entry. At a restaurant you normally present your payment card after eating. I am just curious how it works at a restaurant with LoungeKey.

The agent told me they will swipe the card, the first 36 aud shall be free the rest will be billed.
If for example your spend 32aud the the bill shall be 32 deduct 32 balance zero . but the card has to be swiped.

IMO so far it has been very smooth for me

At some point the airport restaurants must run the Priority Pass cards through the dedicated PP handheld readers to record the visit, so I assume they would do the same here, but with the credit card?

yes.
I was told free/comp priority cards are being phased out & replaced with lounge key.
Both pp & lounge key are owned/managed by the
"The Collinson Group Ltd"
The pp is an additional card , while the lounge key is incorporated within the credit card.

@ mia:

I had a visa infinite before where I had myself + 1 guest free.
Now I have mastercard world where i have myself + 1 guest free.
I spoke to the customer service where they informed me the benefits & possibilities for the above mentioned, hence that's what I put out on the post.
I just called back cust service & in ur case it shall only be 36 aud for u . If u have any guests if they shall be billed for what they order .
As you have visa signature.

I’ve only just stumbled on lounge key and I’m a little confused. On the website it doesn’t mention anything about what specific cards are eligible for access I’ve only seen the visa signature or visa infinate badge next to the logo. Are any visa infinite or visa signature cards eligible for this?

I have transferred this thread from Credit Card Programs to the new Airport Lounges forum where overlapping discussions from various forums have been consolidated.

It's up to the card issuer to decide if they choose to offer this benefit.

All SSA ones are, I believe, but I can't speak for worldwide.

Quite helpful having lounge access with a debit card, for me.

Exclamation Mastercard Lounge Key

Comes with most, but not all, MasterCard World Elite cards.
Once registered it works very smooth.
Details here.

Unfortunately, there is no lounge listed in CAN Terminal 2.

Retail offers

Bumping this because I think LK needs more visibility. I was wondering if any of you have used the spa, retail and dining offers by LK? What are your experiences?

Wonder if anyone has a really unlimited access with Lounge Key?

Citi Prestige (HK) just announced it moves from PP to LK, and it will only be one visit per departure or arrival instead of the current unlimited. Very unpleasing change

LoungeKey is like a bad version of PP. no free entries and no free guests.
Also seems to be fewer available Lounges.
