Just noticed restriction on domestic origination only.

Need new ideas before year end.

The way the credits show in the statement are two line items underneath the two line items for the charges on the taxes:

"CARD TRAVEL CREDIT THANK YOU" $58 and change
"CARD TRAVEL CREDIT THANK YOU" $41 and change
Odd, my charge was for $40.25 on 22 October, and there's been no activity. I spent 40 minutes on the phone with BofA last night. The first moron thought the $100 was a sign-up bonus, then said he couldn't see what was on the card. When I mentioned the magic 'benefit' word, he shipped me off to cardmember benefits (the guys who do price protection and car insurance).

The second nicer lady thought it was also a sign-up bonus, and didn't really understand a 'automatic statement credit'. She offered to put in a $100 manual credit to make me go away, but I somewhat doubt that I'll ever see it.

I used the card to charge early bird check in on Southwest airlines for an award flight. It took 5 days but credit posted to my account. Was three early bird fees of $15 each way for a total of $90.However the tracker under the rewards benefits hasn't updated yet.

Does anyone know if this credit is based on a calendar year or a card member year?

Why cant you sell the GC in marketplace? You can get $85 or so in Amazon or ebay GC or $80 in cash.

United Airlines does not sell giftcards, instead they have a Gift Registry which is down:

We’re sorry, our gift registry page is currently unavailable for maintenance. You can still use the funds from your gift registry to book travel during this time, but you will not be able to receive contributions or update your registry details. Please check back at a later date.
