Purchased $100 AA eGift Card on 9/30. Posted date of 10/02, credit posted 10/08.
Interestingly my benefit meter is still showing $0
I had to call in to AA to get the transaction to go through. My address has a dash in the number portion which failed their validation. Website told me to call in with a reference number, AA called BoA and verified my address and finished the transaction.

I believe only the BoA Premium Rewards card includes the $100 airline credit.

Purchased $100 AA gift card on 10/30. Credit did NOT post. I used the online chat feature to query, given everyone else has had recent success, and was sent a copy/paste reply that gift cards don’t qualify.

Gift cards never officially count, so asking customer service isn't going to help.
