- Redeem at 1.5c per point value for travel purchases made directly at the US Bank travel site
- Redeem at 1.5c per point for travel purchases made at other sites when using the Realtime Rewards feature. Must enroll first.
- Otherwise redeem at 1c per point.
- With Realtime Rewards it's possible to redeem for fees such as Delta award charges for example.
- To redeem for lodging the minimum purchase must be
$500$150 and you must have enough points to cover the whole purchase. For car rentals, the minimum is$250$150. $10 minimum for the rest of the categories. - Some non-US travel charges work with Realtime Rewards even though they shouldn't.

Opened Altitude last week. Very much aware that they have very low tolerance for gift card purchases. Is there like a safe limit? Like one $500 visa gc at grocery store per week (with couple of random items so total is not $505.95) to hit the minimum spend requirement for account opening bonus?
I am also planning to buy 5 iPhones with Xfinity mobile online and pay them in full with altitude cc. Total will be around $4000. Is that totally ok or will that be a red flag for a single big purchase? Call CSR and have them online when making the purchase? I see xfinity comcast (interner and tv) takes apple pay. Does xfinity mobile take apple or samsung pay so I can get 3x?

Does anyone here has an experience that card got blocked disabled during overseas travel because transaction was not in the country of the travel notice?

You can change your travel notification online. It allows to put notifications up to 3 months ahead. I had no issues so far. Used the card successfully in Germany, Mexico, Netherlands, Israel, Egypt. My mom is using this card in Germany without issues so far.

Booking flights using points
Hello everyone,
Do you have experience using rewards points to book flights? If so, are there any 'gotchas' one should be aware of?
Looking to book three tickets on SIN-(HAN)-LQP-HAN-SIN in December. All flights will be with VN (Vietnam Airlines).
Anyone have booked flights in far away regions using points with local carriers? What was the experience?

Applied online for a gold checking account 8/19 evening and was approved. Applied online for Altitude Reserve card 8/21 afternoon and got message that we cannot make decision right now, we'll let you know. Got email a few hours later that the card has been approved.

Question - ride sharing services - Uber, Lyft, Grab, etc - are they classified as 'travel' with 3X points?

Question on the Priority Pass visits, one website mentioned " 4 free cardholder visits and 4 free individual guest visits per year" - what's the difference between the two?
Also do those visits include the PP restaurants?

Four annual visits for the cardholder, and four annual visits for a guest accompanying the cardholder. It appears that more than one guest can accompany the cardholder at some locations, but each guest would use up one of the four allowed guest visits.
And yes, Priority Pass restaurants are still included.
