Did you mean to type "Plastiq" rather than "plastic"?

I used Apple Pay with Doxo to make my mortgage payment to Wells Fargo this month and can report it went without a hitch. It is 3.5% fee to use Doxo so I will net 1%. Not sure if this will lead to a shut down but right now wife and I each have a AR so if 1 gets cancelled not really the end of the world. Just need to make sure I redeem points as soon as possible to cover the 3.5% fee.

Why does there have to be an app? Some websites allow for mobile-wallet payments.

Don't consider it trolling - which one? Since I moved out from US I have not followed development in this area because had no need. Are there any mobile-wallet payments sites accept apple pay which allows payments on mac via safari?
Going back to plastiq - does it allow mobile payment on site?

Yes. For example, delivery.com is a restaurant delivery website that allows Apple Pay via safari on a desktop or laptop Mac.

Plastiq does not allow mobile payment.

I was able to use Google Pay on the U.S. website of megabus.com to purchase bus tickets (which would not be considered "travel" by U.S. Bank).

This year with iphone success rate was higher but still - there were number of terminals where only physical card insert was an option.

I wonder at which point US Bank will remove 3x mobile payment bonus, acknowledging that acceptance of mobile payments is that widespread that they are incurring losses.
My Samsung Pay MST or NFC success rate is close to 99%. I found that on Gear S3 watch MST better than NFC.

BH has Google Pay as an online option.

I would also like to see a list or help compile a list of popular websites that allow Gpay or SPAY

I wonder why Visa is ok with this, when they frown on mtg payments on Plastiq

GooglePay's website has a list of some big national retailers that have signed up but those are mostly for in person contactless.

https://pay.google.com/about/where-to-use/#online

That so far seems to be narrower.

Apple Pay accepted on these sites/apps

https://apps.apple.com/story/id1279036881

Seems to be a larger list, and presumably the Apple Card will get even more vendors
