Thanks.
Aparently, USBank does not like me. I tried to get in with the Radisson Rewards card, but was declined due to too many recent inquiries (excellent score and income).

Are there any data points on how USBank views making tax payments at PayUSATax via Google Pay? Is it OK or as bad as gift cards?

Thanks.

PayUSATax's site does not mention Google Pay. How would I know they accept it?

i saw it on the IRS website but have not tried it yet. I was there to compare the current rates for credit card payments.

Good eye in finding this. I am not sure how this will trigger. I see the Visa Checkout option on payusatax, but it prompts for Visa account, not mobile wallet. I don't think a transaction via Visa Checkout is going to code as mobile.... Anytim with success getting 3x for tax payments?

I'm not sure either. As a test, I made a small visa checkout purchase at Staples to see how that codes. The purchase still shows at pending but the purchase method shows as "manually entered". With a $4 Staples purchase, the test is cheap and will wait until the purchase goes to completed to see if it works or not.

No, it doesn't give 3x. I tried with Samsung Pay/Visa Checkout integration, got only 1x.

How long did you have the FlexPerks for?

Are there any data points out there for knowing how long someone should have an established relationship with US Bank before they can apply for this card successfully? How much in a bank account or how soon after you get another one of their CC's? I am wondering how to approach getting the card without a rejection so any news/ideas are much appreciated!

When you are setting up checking, the banker gets a notice if you are pre-qual for the AR.

Apparently they don't get that many signups from walk ins.

They do not push the net $75 fee either, or the bankers typically don't understand it.

the process was the banker submits your info and the computer generates offer from certain cards. You can’t simply apply for the altitude card.

So would the person have better chance getting approved at branch than applying online?
