Had this card for about two months now.

I noticed when I make payments to the account, the funds take an inordinate amount of time to become available. While the payment is dated the day it is received, the payment does not raise the available balance to use for about 5 business days (usually one calendar week). It happens whether the payment is pulled by Alliant from my bank or the bank sends a bill payment to Alliant.

Does this happen to others? Any suggestions so this doesn't happen?

Thanks.

What's the max credit line on this card for new members?
My average monthly is $25-35K (no MS), so need something big.
Maximum credit line for first 6 months is $25k.

Was told to reapply after 6 months to a year for increase.

My other cards have much higher limits but these guys don't care.
Apparently they are not in the market for high spenders.

Gotta love the 3% first year and 2 1/2% after though....

Just confirming you are paying the card from another bank (push/pull), and not from an Alliant checking account directly? I just got the card but will test tomorrow to see how quickly the payment clears when paying from an Alliant checking account.

Correct, I am paying from an "outside" (non-Alliant) bank.

Will be interested in yours (and other's) experiences.

Thanks.

DP: Paid around 9PM on 6/9 (Fri). Payment posted to account on 6/12 and limit was increased again this am 6/13 (Tues). Not sure how the weekend played into this. Will try again today to see the turnaround time.

How did you pay? Push from external? Pull from CC payment page or transfer from savings account? And also if you don't mind me asking how much(percentage relative to limit) did you pay?

Paid from alliant checking billpay. Only paid $5 on a 20k limit. (Haven't had any big purchases yet.)

The way they manage this card is so weird. Alliant extends the credit, everything else is manage by CO-OP Financial Services. CO-OP Financial Services then outsource the reward programs to another company. God forbids if you have to deal with 3 companies altogether. Because they don't talk to each other very much. Everything is slow and ancient. OMG

Yes... its the way how they manage this card. It's crazy. I think CO-OP Financial Services takes the payment, then pass it onto Alliant, and then finally Alliant credits the account.
